So my ford fiesta (2001) with the endura e engine 1.299cc has a manifold that needs replacing, had a slow coolant leak for a while but now I have to refill the coolant tank every day to drive anywhere, My mechanic looked into repairing it but said a new manifold from ford is £360 inc vat tried looking on ebay for 2nd hand ones, is there any other option on repairing this cheaper? otherwise looking like the car could be a write off as value is only £200 from the insurance these days. dont really have cash to go buying a new car and a 2nd hand car would also cost a fair chunk as well to get anything decent.... so i am feeling fairly lost what to do with this situation.
