Looking at changing over to fly by wire throttle body but need some info.

I see a few people seem to use the throttle body from a VW 1.8T 20V as the bolt patten is the same as the cossie one so is a direct fit meaning no need to make up adapter plates.

What I'm trying to find out is what pedal you need ? As in, if you use the vw throttle body do you have to run the vw pedal.
I've been told the fiesta st 150 pedal is an easy fit but will this work with the vw throttle body ?

Also what other throttle body's and pedals can be used with out having to machine adapter plates up to make it fit.
