Have a look at the thread by 1rickz posted on 18/09/2017 basically asking the same thing. He reckoned he viewed 2 Dogs as he called them both with issues and priced at £12 to £13k so like him you have to keep looking until you find a good one. There are fewer 2wd Saffs around than 4x4s. Which model are you thinking of? As for the ride comfort it depends what has been done to the suspension. If you buy a standard car it will have in most cases a smoother ride than a lowered , poly bushed etc example. My 2wd is lowered, with Koni front struts with Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks on the back with Eibach springs and poly bushed throughout. It holds the road well but you do feel the bumps and I try to avoid big potholes. Never bothered me but some people prefer a softer ride.There are lots of options including coil overs etc its all down to personal preference.
