Wheel bearings, bushes etc will still wear out, especially with 900nm of torque etc unless the battery life is so low your just scrap / recycle them...almost like a helicopter. So I think mechanics will survive.

The bloke at my daughters school just dropped £110k on an x, it had to have the whole interior out to get the floor up and replace the whole loom due to Earth faults so the mechanics were busy, albeit at the factory.
