Normal off the shelf synthetics are usually 0/30 or 0/40 grade and these ARE too thin for a cossie.
Most (Mobil1 Shell Helix triple r etc.) also do other grades.
I use Carlube triple R 15/50.
Heavier synthetics are harder to find - try motorsport specialists - or see if a local motorshop / factor can order it for you.
