Late reply, But I am currently looking at installing mine.

You need an 8 pin DIN male to female cable:

(I can't find a shorter cable)

The speaker plug from the loom would sit in the amp, The amp will also have a +/- point these need to be wired up to the power plug... This is easy enough to do as the wires are red/black....

But here's where i'm stuck. Assuming your stereo is as the same as the 1980s premium sound 2007(2000 model) There's 5 wires for the power plug for mine.

Negative/Earth
??? I guess Switched live/positive
???
switched lights
permanent live/positive

Is your power outlet on the stereo like this?

However it looks like you're trying to fit a 1990s Ford stereo into 1980s stereo placement.
