I think I remember reading about this. The guy was part of a Ferrari program where multiple car owners are offered the chance to drive fairly recent F1 cars for a pretty big chunk of change.

I can't remember the name of the program or the price tag, but I remember thinking that I wish I had that kind of coin to play with those kind of toys.
