BOB PATS and wiring is a nightmare. First off the ECU wants the auto box to be fitted as it needs to see the sensors. The PATS can be diched on the early cars as its not built into the ECU but you still need to fake the signal to the ecu to run.
Then there is the wiring, its big. Lots of wires to lots of stuff. The main problem is the insulation goes brittle in areas that have been heated. Mainly down the engine V area. Its a common fault and the reason the car i got for the engine has fualt lights on the dash.

You can run the BOB on the BOA loom and ecu, as i did with mine. The inlet VIS valve has just been left closed and not used. Managed 220bhp on a standard BOB with the standard BOA ecu.
