Personally I'd do exactly that! I've done about 11k miles in my car so far, about 6k of which was done the other side of the channel. Yes it would be annoying but there are quite a few powerful Cosworths on Jersey so what you're saying applies to those and all the other fast stuff too, what would you buy a Micra??
And what about all the big brake kits I've sent there? No need for those either!
