Odd, most of the cabs I have changed screens on have been bronze in mk3's and green in mk4's) but that not to say your arne't right ginge - which is why I said

mk3 = bronze/clear
mk4 = green/clear
mk5 = green/clear
mk6 = green/clear

A lot fo non XR/RS Escorts had tinted glass tho - very rare now to find a clear mk5/6 car (I do a lot of door glass for them, not so many mk3/4's now tho) but done a few mk3/4's with tinted glass that ain't clear
