indeed having the side open will make it HOTTER as the cases are designed to draw air in certain positions for flow n stuff...

deffo get yourself at least 1 case fan... and double check your CPU fan...

unless you mean you dont have a CPU fan? in which case GO OUT AND BUY ONE NOW!!
