To me that's what it's all about really, not so much what car's attend but just the social aspect of it, i.e. Firing up the BBQ and cracking open the beers and where possible a bit of camping, I did used to walk around shows but most of the time I was on stand and just having a crack with people. I think the last time I attended ford fair was 2010 and have not been back since, having said that I've not attended any shows really over the past few years because they do get a bit repetitive if you keep on attending year in year out, I went to castle Combe last year and had a trade stand which is very reasonably priced, sold a few bits and made a bit of profit but mainly done it to take my Mrs and little ones on a bit of a camping excursion, I aim to do a little bit more in the way of shows this coming year but will concentrate on the venues I have not attended in the past and it's a new experience then. On a final note cost does come into it will a lot of people myself included when thinking of attending shows, prices seem to rise with regards to everything but wages stay the same
