Then got the tyres fitted, yokohama a539's, and flatted the faces with 800 wet and painted them, they came out great, very pleased with the finish!
Next up set the bead again and balanced the tyres, this was a struggle due to the securing cups we had and the centre cap bolt hole catching, looked like I had an awful run out to start with. Eventually we found a way to mount the wheels on square and they balanced up perfect (apart from a small buckle I was already aware of).
Managed to get the wheels fitted on Tuesday, but was too dark for pictures, but they look great. Did manage to get a comparison picture of old and new off the car though
That brings me up to how it sits now. Next up will be fixing a few niggles like a faulty fuel gauge and questionable radio wiring, and fitting xr suspension. I'll try and get some photos of the wheels on the car this weekend too.
