To be honest rick if you own something worth stealing that much they'll come in your house whilst your in it then you'll get a battering for not handing over the keys, and as much as some people think they are double hard bastard, when in the comfort of your own home your not going to be ready for like 5 people who will try there best to get keys.
It pains me to say this but I'd probably just reluctantly hand over the keys, or let them take it in my sleep, I had a mate that got broken into and attacked with a crow bar, they pretty much left him for dead looking for money that didn't exist stashed in the house, spent weeks in hospital recovering and a plate put in his head and to be honest he hasn't been the same since.
