Car sat in there a good while, so whilst waiting for a space it was time to get parts together for the rest of the build.
Full weld in custom cages cage was dropped off with the car, never got any pics of that but just a big pile of heavy tube is a good enough idea lol.
First on the shopping list was the carbon roof. I knew this was going to be the easiest option for the car really. The sunroof tray was pretty good but one small scab had started on the roof so for me it just made sense to get rid and get a carbon one on there. Probably cheaper in the long run than farting about getting a new tray/roof and welding it on. Plus the benefits of weight saving and it aint ever gonna rust again made sense. I didn't want a lacquer finish for it as a black roof on a white car just screams taxi so we went for a primer finish.
