Hi,
i recently bought a late o6 ranger 2.5tdci. the van had a faulty instrument cluster and another one came with.

Today i replaced the cluster but now i have a check engine light and abs light on.

Before replacing the cluster both where turning on, on ignition then go off after i start. Now though after I start they go off, then back on again after a few seconds. Is it that they don't fit? or maybe i have to calibrate something? could it be the cluster is carrying faults from previous van (always thought faults are stored in ecu but...)?

Any help appreciated
