Its better than a Eastwood processes,its the ultimate protection for rust, not many people do this other than really serious restorers, but look at any street lampost, their galvanised,as are those fences around industrial estates and they never rust.
Crash barriers on the motorway,their galvanised aswell, when you start looking its everywhere.

Wheras paint is just a barrier coating, scratch it off and the protection has gone, cold zinc rich galvansing paint is the ultimate protection to stop rust even trying to start.

You have to take the bodywork down to bare shiny steel wherever yo decide to paint on the product, after its dried, normally about 1 hour,its totally waterproof to the weather, you dont have to immediately overpaint it with a topcoat,until whenever you like, so you can do spot reapirs in bits and pieces and if your doing a full respray at some time, this keeps it sealed until you get around to it.

Normal grey primers what you see loads of cars driving around it is pourous,moisture gets in and water,if you dont seal over it straight away.

Rust starts forming withing 4 hours of sanding down to bare metal.

I am going to make a video on youtube about ultimate rust prevention and protection of bare steel with all different products and a time lapse photo taken every day for 6 months, this will show the true winners.

So far prior to using cold galvanising paints such as ZG 90, ZINGA etc, etch primer was far superior compared to epoxy primer (what the yanks use).

In US loads of people use Epoxy primer, but it hardly rains there, in UK ,nearly every day so we need to make sure the bare steel is 100% sealed up.

THIS IS HOW GOOD zinch rich primer paint is (also called COLD GALVANISING ) if you prepare a new piece of steel (i.e. a car front wing) sand it down to bare metal and paint CGP cold glavansing paint on it and let it dry, you can then leave that front wing in the rain outside every day with no top coat for around 15 YEARS! before and rust starts showing BUT TOPCOAT it with 2K paint or basecoat and clear straight after the CGP has dried and it increases by a factor of x 3, so UPTO 45 YEARS PROTECTION.

Really it's the ultimate protection available, other than making your car out of rubber, but that cracks

Its the ultimate protection, my experiment will prove this and also show different brand makes such as;
ZINGA,ZG 90, CORROLESS,TRACTOL 927 etc to name a few side by side comparisons, we will see whos the winner, they will all be good but real life experiment will show it for real.
