07 Focus 1.8 tdci with 120k
Apparently just cut one day .. no fault - no warning, just cut out!
Now will only start with oil filler cap removed which is odd
When it does you get this .... plumes of smoke
If you then rev the engine slightly oil will squirt from the dipstick tube !
Doesn't build water pressure but obviously building crank case pressure
So whats most likely to cause this, piston or another fault ?
Anyone had the same prob before with a 1.8 TDCI engine, or are they known for this??
