Default does the whole EGR + Manifold need to be removed to tighten a turbo oil feed bolt ?

My car, 2006 ford focus sport 1.8 TDCI ( mk2 series)

It has a leak from top engine oil feed pipe bolt located at the rear of the engine near manifold e.t..c, It was loose so I tried to tighten it but could only get it finger tight, oil comes out of it with engine on. I cannot get space to turn because there is a box thing there (torque something I think someone said??)
how am I supposed to tighten the bolt fully without removing whole EGR and the manifold that it is integral with ?
it turns a bit but then stops and requires a spanner to tighten it but have no room at all, been at this for over 10 hours and still no luck so far.

please help
