Hi, I have just removed the EGR valve and cooler pipe off my 2007 Mondeo ST TDCI. All running fine but engine fault symbol lit up. The EGR was the Electric connection type. I have disconnected the battery and reconnected it after a few minutes hoping the ECU would relearn and reset. Is there a dedicated fuse for the EGR valve which could be removed to eradicate the engine fault light . I dont like the idea of taping over the symbol, and hiding another possible engine fault. The car is blue finned.
