the best first upgrade for your car mate, would be brakes, if you still have standard brakes they will overheat and fade very quickly, a couple of cheap otions is direct replacement to S2 set-up, or get S2 calipers but use a bracket (which is readily available), to use 2wd cossie discs.

suspension, alot of people use koni's or similar, but will depend on your budget, konis with decent springs should be OK, i used them on my track S1 for over a year with no problems.

polybushed suspension will make a difference aswell, as 20 year old bushes aint upto much track abuse.

i wouldnt worry about tyres just yet, untill you have done a few track days. but i would recommend using some old tyres that still have road legal tread, and have some spare road legal wheels and tyres, so you can get home again.

i would also give your car a service just to make sure everything is OK, and to put good clean oil in, which you should check during your track day, the same with your water level.


there is more but i am sure others will fill in the gaps, above all though mate just enjoy yourself.
