By the time you've a silicone coupler and clamp on this, it looks like it could be fouling the body. There will also be a lot of leverage here when it impacts from where it is mounted to the engine.

As said, you'd be surprised how much engine etc can move ! And also surprised how smooth they can be when bolted solid.
