Thanks, it is starting to feel very direct with the steering. I think I will be able to soften it quite a bit though although it is not much firmer than a standard 205 right now but I do want it really supple, that should help when it does lose traction as it is 20cm shorter wheelbase than an sapphire and I don't want it too snappy.
I went and filled up with petrol today and the box and diffs seem to be getting looser with each mile I put on it, before I could not push it in neutral but I can now, it used to roll freely on the original diffs and I am sure it is those that are tight.
The shift of the oppliger is very short and precise but I still cannot get over the rate of acceleration in 2nd and often take my foot off the throttle before the shift lights.
