Grind down a socket if you are stuck,sure it's clockwise to wind it back in,you need to push too.
To get the cable off get some adjustable pliers and grip the cam part that the cable goes onto and turn towards the cable and you can release the ends of the cable,tap the plastic ends of the cable out of the carrier.
If you remove the caliper to hold it in a vice then to bleed crack the nipples and turn the ignition key to the first position and the abs pump will pump the fluid through itself.
