In the 21 years I have owned my Saff it has never been through a car wash or been at a hand wash place. I like to clean it myself to my standard and I guess that is why it still looks good and always gets a lot of admirers at shows.
Car washes are the work of the devil. 99% of all your BMW,Audi,vw dealers have them for service washes. They even recycle the water and the brushes never get changed. Wouldn't put my washing machine through it. Tho we did lock the vehicle progresser through it naked in a parts cage on his 40th
