I also use a da with cut, fine and super fine 3m pads and matching compound on a dull car or to take out holograms, swirls or even wet sand, g60, then workmup through the compounds. I have got 6000 and 3000 polishing heads so you can go 2000 wet n dry with soap and work right up to super fine before polish, clay bar then wax.
