After hearing about a few car fires I thought I would fit a proper msa approved battery isolator, I went with one that stops the car running on the alternator and completely cuts the earth along with power to the ecu and fuel pump.

I went for the Solid state cartek, it is expensive (bought from demon tweeks) but seems to work really well, I have an internal cut button which doubles as the reset and then it has an external one too....I haven't decided where to put that yet as I don't need to comply with any rules.
