I can see why Romain Oppliger is working on the 6 speed kit now though as the 5th is still wide compared to the other gears (although still shorter), with 5th being close to the other it would be even better.

I suspect the fact that I am on 16 inch wheels makes a difference as many fast cossies would be on 18's.

I rekon that if you went 3.9 and Oppliger close ratio on a standard car or T34 car you would be amazed by how much quicker it is due to the driveability and the fact that once the Turbo is spooled up you can keep it in the boost, my car used to drop off boost between each gear change on the T34.
Dropping off boost on a t34!!!
