Found some really useful info on superchargers:
If running low boost, say under 8psi, an intercooler is not needed and if you had one it would actually reduce the boost getting to the engine.
If running high boost, then an intercooler is needed because of higher temps.
Basic science, the more compression from the charger, the more heat generated.
If using the merc C230 supercharger for example, this gives 11psi boost, so an intercooler is needed.
"You can run the standard zetec NA CR as long as you run decent intercooling, either a large FMIC or water injection" - I'd probably get away with a mid size intercooler as the boost isn't sky high.
Though I would like to try it first without an IC, do some live mapping with MSV3 and see what the intake temps were like.
