Casings are the same but Cossie & V6 XR4x4 are 3.6 ratio, DOHC XR4x4 is 3.9. Don't mix them up. Easiest way to tell is to rotate the input flange and count the output rotations. three and a half ish rotations is 3.6, almost four is 3.9.
