Hi all im looking to finally get round to do something i started a few years back but loss of space and time cut it out of my life... Im going to fit a ka with a 2.0 zetec now ive done alot of research and partially had one ready before with a 2.0 zetec ready and used escort 1.6 sump pick up water pump flywheel etc. on r6 carbs and an old edis unit etc.. now im roughly going to follow the same route but was wondering can the st 170 engine be used and is this chain driven? I found alot of usefull info from a kit car site for fitting a zetec into a quantum which my step dad owns and were debating on that at one point but we kept it cvh...anyway back to my troubles . has anyone one here done this before? is the silver top zetec the way forward as not seen the black top as think its to do withthe sump..? loads and loads of issues im sure I will face but im confident I can resolve most im just seeing if theres many people doing or done this and could point me in the right way. I was going to try and go for an st170 engine as the idea of more power is appealing but will the box fit the ka ? Oh ive realised its been along time since i looked into this so now im starting from scratch Any help or advise would be great thanks im really wanting this car built so please any help or advise would be great
