The cable for LHD cars has a length of 2290 mm and should look like that one on the attached pic.... hope this helps you.
this looks like the same one i have on my 1.8cvh sapphire.

don't miss the black clip which keeps the cable to the throttle body spherical joint, it's gold! it does
not come with the brand new cable.
if you lose it while dismantling, you'll have to order a new one.
(kinda 2 eur on the same site).
