Given the integration of ecu's, immobilisers etc in modern cars....you'd probably need a lot more than just the wiring loom. Engine, wiring, clocks, key, any transponders and perhaps much much more. it's a big job.

It would probably be easier just to use an aftermarket ecu to run the engine only.
