Default Cosworth altenator heat shield

Hi
After having altenator failure after a rolling road session and then again after a track day I have been looking into ways of increasing the air flow to my altenator.

I've seen pictures of cars using longer belts and an extended adjuster bracket to allow the altenator to lay on its side more and keep it away from the exhaust.

I have puchased a second hand heat shield from a porsche 944 this will need modding slightly to fit but has a hose attachment to allow a cold air feed from the front of the engine bay.

Hope this helps Cheers Tim.
