I always check postage costs before committing to buy, because as stated above I dont agree with that. Nothing I sell gets extra pricing on postage
I have sold quite a bit of car and motorbike stuff on E-bay and I have been caught out a few times by not asking enough for post and package.If its an awkward shape or heavy I always package it up ,take it to the Post Office and find out how much UK parcel delivery will be. That way is fair so you are only charging the correct amount.
I am sure some stuff I have bought the seller has made extra money on postage which is wrong.
