the main thing I found that hugely effects the finish quality is to fight the temptation to put to much on in one go. many light mist coats seems to work better . I'm not in the car trade I'm just a diyer but ive got just as good a finish (to my joiners eye anyway) with spray cans bought from the main dealer as what was on the original panels .
Yeah I did lots of lights coats and built it up. I hear people saying u should flat it back between coats but I'm not sure how thick they mean by a coat as it'll prob go on faster and thicker with a professional spray gun?
