Zetec Turbo build HELP!!!
Hi all, Im new to passion ford and new to modifying in general so I have a lot of questions regarding putting a turbo zetec into my mk4 estate, Okay so first of all I plan on using an ST170 block that i already have and using a 2ltr blacktop head from a mondeo or focus, and using the ST170 valve springs, I plan on going omex 600 to control everything, I want to use an IB5 from a Ka as Its just too expensive to go mtx because of the custom driveshafts, Does anyone know if an IB5 will mount as Ive only seen them in mk4's with cradles but Im using a S1 ARB, I have CVH parts so I dont mind using an RST exhaust manifold, Also what turbo will I need? Will the RST one do? I want to be running anything from 230 to 270 reliably, Will an RST flywheel and clutch work fine using a Zetec and IB5 running that sort of power? I would like to use a Rover inlet and Cossie throttle body but I dont know where to find the rover manifold? What kind of inlet options do i have? Id much prefer a side feed inlet. Any help is greatly appreciated and I realise this might seem a little ambitious for a first build but its a long term project so Im not too pressured, Thanks
Edit: Also does anyone know if the Puma Linkage will still line up relatively close to the standard one after an IB5 swap into a mk4
