Damage to the car is bad enough, but still can't believe they charge nurses and doctors to park at their place of work.

Learned that myself when my wife was in for an op, was chatting to them about the price of the parking and they said they don't get a reduced rate, couldn't believe they have to pay!! And as you said, that's on top of exhausting 12 hour shifts.
