I'm going to replace the hard steel fuel lines that run from the tank up into the engine bay.
The only thing that's worrying me is separating the hard plastic fuel line that runs from the end of the steel line on the right hand side of the engine bay, to the fuel rail.
The two pipes are joined by this wee beasty which I can't figure out how to release. The bottom half of it spins round and it has two slots that face back down in the direction of the steel pipe. I'm assuming something goes in those slots to release the clip but don't know the best way to do it. Want to be really careful with the plastic as it'll be almost impossible to replace and don't want to have to replace it with an aeroquip line. Is there a special tool to release it?
Here's the clamp under the bonnet and I believe there's another one at the fuel tank end.
