Ordered a foam lance earlier and had a look at what i have.
I have about 200ml of iron x left, got clay, Das6 pro with menzerna ip2100 and sf4100, i also have some gtecniq p1 polish. And still have enough carpro dlux to coat the wheels.
So what i need to buy is:
Snow foam
Shampoo
Wax
And maybe a new mitt and drying towel
Reading through the thread about the swirl marks, bassboy suggests using some carpro c1 to seal the paint, this looks a good idea and i take it one 30ml bottle will do a car lol?
He also suggests fusso wax but i cant find many places other than ebay that sell it.
And finally, the car is panther black if that makes any difference lol.
Ill get some pics, but it wont be for a few weeks till im back off holibobs.
I guess the process is:
Pressure wash first then snowfoam or just go in with the snowfoam first?
Pressure wash
Wash with mitt and shampoo
Pressure wash
Spray iron x all over the car and leave for a few mins
Pressure wash
Clay
Wash with mitt again
Tape up panel gaps
Machine with the menzerna ip4100 and a medium pad
Wipe off
Machine with sf4100 and soft pad
Wipe off
Remove tape and wash with mitt
Dry
Apply carpro C1 and buff
Wax and buff
Clean wheels with bilberry etc, dry, seal with dlux
Go to bed
