Hello folks,

What purpose does the clutch switch serve on the mk2 Mondeo?

Does it introduce a rev limiter for when the clutch pedal is depressed to protect the engine?

Is it used for making selections during engine diagnostics? (Is there even a way of reading engine fault codes without a code reader plugged in?)
