yeah I'm an rac patrol aswell and unfortunately is the case.there are rare occasions that the company will send a flatbed straight away but most of the time we have to go out to assess.alot of customers say oh you wont be able to do anything,we turn up and get it sorted.
When my mate gets the job through and he sees its me and my cossie he just organised a recovery truck straight away. Happened twice now he's a good lad, was really lucky he got the job both times
