Brings back memories My 1st Ford was a 92 facelift Tasman Blue sapphire which i owned 5 years. Always loved sierras and owned a 91 J reg pre facelift after that and also a 92 facelift Saph cossie 4x4. Always wanted a 2.9 xr4x4 for fun aswell.
Same here. Had other fords but my first Sierra was a Chasseur Saph that I got around 15 years ago for the princely sum of £200... how I long for those days again. Came MOT time and had no option but to scrap it due to rust and me lacking the facilities at the time to work on it
. Still wake up screaming "nnnnoooooooo" over the memory of that. Slightly older revision CVH (R2A I believe) with mechanical fuel pump and fake dizzy... this one far simpler with in tank pump and EDIS, just the right amount of modern tech to make it easy to fix and reliable, but not over-complicated like cars nowadays!!
