Surely it's not the £350 purchase price (or £2,350 for that matter) it's the insurance, tax (which you have to pay on day one) and other high running costs). Sadly, I'd still think twice if offered a good one for a quid as keeping it on the road, if you are not in the trade, will still add up.
I've got trade insurance, an mot licence and a welder so would have cost me £20 a month to tax lol
