I owned saloon number 299/300. Bought it when it was only 6 months old and had 8000 miles on it, kept it for 18 months and sold it, regretted it ever since. Then a few years ago i bought another saloon, this was number 59/300, it had 95000 miles on it, still drove perfect. Used it for a few months and offered it for sale, a fella came from Devon to Yorkshire to buy it. They are still very sought after but as mentioned they suffer badly with rotten arches etc.
