It sucks but if he has paid by PayPal your no returns means shit. If he opens a case with eBay they WILL find in his favour and give him your money.

I would just get it back and give him his money while you have some control over the job.

If you refund it through PayPal they will give you there cut back.

You will still be down on the postage and eBay fees .
