So I've been out to look at the car again today and found the issue.

From the hub to the bottom of the Spring base on one side measures 18cm on the other 22mm. Therefore it seems when I bought the Konis from the breakers I've been given to different struts.

I wounded if this is why my tyres have been wearing on the inside edges on the front?

But even on the side the wheel does fit the 225/40/18 tyres are to big as the wheel is catching on full lock. I've read most people are using 215/35/18 so a tyre change seems to be one of the fixes. But what are you thoughts on the Konis? Shall I go for new 4x4 Saphirre Konis, coil overs or Escort Cosworth Konis to give better clearance? Will this effect anything?

Surely it's not right running with the two different struts as they are now as one spring will be compressed more than the other?
