I have a totaled 2004 european fiesta, has the 1.3L duratec but it was busted in the crash. It's been lying in front of my house for two years and I've been thinking of turnig it into a project car. I can get the bodywork done but ford parts are scarce here and hence I can't find a ford engine. I'll be swapping in an engine and transmission from another manufacturer. what are some good candidates and are there some existing examples?
