What's the tolerance on the Hub Stub? If the new Bearing slides on easily the first 15mm of the shaft (with no wobble on the shaft), then it's a tight fit and will need pressing on the remainder of the shaft. Sound like that's still use-able ?
I don't know what the interferance tolerance is sorry. But it certainly seems that your stub can be reused.
But when you buy one it will come as a unit.
