On the Hub yes, the bearing slides on the shaft easily for 15mm, then is tight and would need pressing into place. I thought that was normal and 'ok'. However 2 places i've taken it to for a 2nd opinion have told me it shouldn't be used as that 15mm of shaft has worn too far.
Yep too worn. Bearings on a good carrier will need tapping or pressing in. On the stub its a little easier if that makes sense.
